Everybody clap your hands….

I had to focus on home teams here, because if I tried to list opponents as well…well, the list would just be too long and incorrect because my memory stinks!

1. Oakland A’s Baseball….my first major league game…and my only Major League baseball game. I was in High School and went with a boy….Greg White. Thanks Greg for taking me to my first major league game.
2. Golden State Warriors…I think this was college? I know I went, but my memory of the game and who I went with is foggy. I don’t want to be wrong…so I won’t guess.
3. Pacific…but back then we called in UOP. I went to college there, as did RBB. I saw a few Football games before we got rid of the program, and many, many basketball games.
4. OU – a few football games (RBB mostly goes with his mom, but I have been to a few, and a few OU/Texas games down in Dallas), and a couple basketball games.
5. For a time after Hurricane Katrina we were home to the Hornets. I was lucky enough to go to quiet a few games, and saw Chris Paul play his rookie season. Very cool.
6. Now we are home to the OKC Thunder. We are proud season ticket holders and I go to as many games as I can…although not as many as I’d like.
7. Cal Baseball – a friend from high school is an assistant coach and I randomly connected with him on FB when he was here in OKC for a tournament. RBB, Bonham and I went to Norman and watched the game.
8. The Amarillo Dillas…a minor league baseball team…when RBB and I drove from CA to OK one time, we stopped in Amarillo, Texas. We had college friends coaching for the Dillas so we took in a game.

    K- back :) .

Yes, there was no way I could remember opposing teams! I do remember one- Chicago Blackhawks (Ryan's favorite hockey team)- played against the Kings. And Ryan wore his CB jersey (Kings fans did not like that)!

Not too many for me, even though I love watching sports!! Just the New Orleans Saints when we lived there and the DC Caps when we lived there! I need to go to more actual games!!…so m uch fun!

  • Katie

Yay! So glad I'm finally joining in on the fun!

  • Estelle

Of course, the SF Giants. Went to a million games with my family in the late 80s. And now, of course, we are all New England teams all the time. It's like a cult you cannot escape.

  • Joye Schwartz

Wow, you have seen so many teams play! I mainly watch on my TV, so my list is short :)

  • Notorious MLE

An A's game. One more thing we have in common, eh?

  • RBB

Let's see if I can remember mine. Home teams only:

    Oklahoma Basketball
    Oklahoma Baseball (@ Oklahoma City… I think)

Oklahoma City 89ers (defunct bball team)

I am lucky to live in a place that affords me the opportunity to have some peanuts and beer – I mean, um, to watch a ball game – once in a while. I am typically bored with games on TV (peanuts and beer helps with that, though.)
