I put together this post yesterday about having the wants, and then I read the Life Well Lived Question about personal style. The question was How do you find your fashion voice and cultivate your personal style? I wouldn’t say that I have a personal style, or a fashion voice. I would generally say that I lean on the Gap and Jcrew to help me out. BUT, with that said, I like to funk it up a bit when I can. I love neat jewelry and accessories. I don’t wear as many as I would like. I would really like to add more into the mix, but I try. Classic clothes with a bit of extra added ooomph. That is what I would like my style to be. I guess I need to work on that huh?
So anyway, back to my wants, instead of buying, I will post about them. It’s almost the same thing right? I do have a birthday coming up…and mother’s day…and wedding anniversary. Maybe a GAP gift card will find it’s way to me.

I have been loving GAP lately. The clothes just seem to fit me well and are working for me. I guess each of these pieces are kind of classic silhouettes with a bit of added interest? Right? RBB would say that nothing from the GAP or Jcrew could be considered funky or different…and he is right. They are all fairly classic, even when done in new colors or patterns. So I guess I still need to look for ways to add the ooomph into my style.
What about you? How do you find your fashion voice and cultivate your personal style? Head over to the Life Well Lived main post and share your thoughts, and of course share them here as well. The next Life Well Lived Sweepstakes doesn’t start until Friday, so I will remind you of it next week sometime. Totally worth entering!! I know I will.
