Summer Reading

This goes out to all my Oklahoma peeps….

I got an e-mail this week altering me to this program and asking me to pass the info along. Reading? Good. Free Money? Also good. So here goes.

Rather than try and summarize this on my own, I am going to just share with you what I was told.

“The purpose of the Think Big! Save for College! Sweepstakes is to promote reading during the summer and starting to save for college, now.

There is no cost to enter. All parents need to do is go to ok4saving.org and enter. The prize is $2,529 towards a college savings plan for one child and one teen. The children’s libraries will also receive money for their reading programs.

The deadline to enter is July 31.”

Sounds like a win-win to me. Reading and college savings.
